Title: Wanted - Good quality hay in Scotland?
Post by: Hazeyg on April 30, 2012, 08:46:29 pm
Does anyone know where I can source some really excellent quality hay in Scotland? Im looking for some lovely green hay- having difficulty because of weather locally last year and generally people fobbing me of with excellent hay thats more like straw than hay.
It can be meadow timothy rye or any combination of those types of grass as long as its nice and green any long stranded.
Will travel to anywhere in the central belt as long as I know its good.

Any recommendations???

How many and what size of bales  are you looking for? Maybe some in North Ayrshire?

David Cameron can source good hay and deliver a fair way for a good price. He usually advertises in Equi-ads but you need to buy in bulk. (80 bales or so i think)
let me know if u need his number and i will hunt it out.
