I'm sorry if this is not the right place to post this and I realise it's very much a long shot, but I'm looking for somewhere to rent in or near to Farnham, Surrey, to keep some of my breeding stock of bantam chickens. I don't mind if it's grazing, a stable, a bit of an outbuilding and it doesn't matter what state it's in as they have their own runs and coops. Can anyone help?
I'm looking for nothing more than a postage stamp garden sized space...back when I had a horse grazing and land seemed quite plentiful but I've been looking for somewhere for my poultry for ages and haven't found anything near me. There must be a farmer or similar out there who'd like a bit of cash for an otherwise unused bit of a land or barn but I've not found him or her yet :(
Any ideas or suggestions gratefully received. Thank you.

We used to live near Basingstoke and I can understand your frustration - we moved to West Cornwall to solve the problem !
Are there any large allotment sites or community orchards being set up near you ? They might be more helpful and willing to squeeze your coops around the edges. Hook Allotments seem to be very enterprising and they may have inspired something closer to Farnham.
Sorry I can't be more helpful - Good luck

Thanks for the reply :) There are quite a few allotment sites in Farnham but AFAIK cockerels aren't allowed.
