Title: When to cut down?
Post by: thenovice on April 22, 2012, 08:37:26 am
Good morning all, just a quickie for you. I have been bottle feeding a couple of sock lambs twice a day. Now they have started grazing like the older ewes, and take a handful of creep every day. The question is, when do i cut down to 1 bottle, as they dont seem very old yet? Thanks in advance

I'm following the instructions on the bag for the one lamb I'm having to bottle feed, mind you I can't get
as much into her as it says. That may be due to the breed though as she's a 'primitive' Gotland and the
milk replacer is probably referring to commercial breeds.
How old are yours?
