Hi All,
Can anyone in EIRE provide me with details of any established Smallholder / Farm stores in Sourhern Ireland?
Many Thanks

Anyone?

We've seen plenty driving around the Country, tucked away in obscure villages. Is there a Yell.com equivalent?

Hi there,
We live in Donegal and we usually get our supplies from our local Co-op, well when I say co-op its called Donegal creameries but its more than just dairy it deals with, it has stores around the county where you can get anything related to agriculture, from fencing to feed etc. The website doesn't give you much info but if you wanted to get in contact with them the details are there. http://www.donegal-creameries.ie/ (http://www.donegal-creameries.ie/)
As far as I know this is how most smallholders get supplies, there are County and local Co-op's around the country and the main one seems to be http://www.mullinahonecoop.ie/, (http://www.mullinahonecoop.ie/,) this is where we order our cattle tags and I notice a lot of the local places get their supplies from here.
I've never ordered from this site, but its another option http://www.oldmcdonald.ie/ (http://www.oldmcdonald.ie/)
There are also supplies in local hardware/We sell anything and everything kinda stores, they wouldn't be focussing directly on agriculture but do a bit of everything that a person might need in a rural area (of course until you go in looking for one specific thing and thats just the thing they dont stock ;D)
Hope that helps, do I win a prize ;)
