Title: believe it , or not ?

horoscopes and fortune telling ?

One it seems is based on astrology
The other not.

Is it just fun, a rip off, or is there something else to it ?

as a Gemini I am in two minds over this matter.

Nah,  the stuff they say is so vague and our brains are 'pattern-matching machines' so we make it fit.

I'm sure there's a lot more to the world than we can see and directly sense but I'm not at all sure astrologers and fortune tellers are tapped into it. But who really knows  ;)

Two minds myself about most things in fact, I also am very chatty like most Gemini's.....I like to think that makes me have at least some empathy!!!! I think there is something in it but would not plan my life or change it because of it!!

As a Pisces, I should be wafting around in a haze of floaty skirts and incense. Not mud and lambing goo  :o

"Going with the flow" and having a bit of a dual personality fits though.

I must be a bit smelly mind, as according to the Chinese I'm a rat too!

Well, Im a Taurean through an through. I have so many traits attributed to Taureans, right down to them suffering throat problems, liking finer things in life (even though I cant afford them these days) and struggling with weight. My hubby is a Piscean, and my friends husband happens to be one too. Both husbands are SO alike its untrue. They are both bolshy, both have to have the last word, both dont get on with others (hence whey we have very few friends!!) and both swear like troopers!!! And that's just their good points!
So although I may not believe in the daily horoscopes which are done for the masses, I do believe that life is mapped out for you by whoever or whatever rules this universe, from the minute you are born to the minute you leave this earth, so a personalised chart done by a professional astrologer could be fairly accurate.
Then again, I also believe in the spirit world, so perhaps its better to take everything I write with a good pinch of salt!!!
