Oooo, I have just noticed that I have been promoted to Sr Member. I hope thats not a reflection of my age ;D ;D
-
Not age but an important member of the forum ;D
-
Well done :trophy:
Who knows one day I'll grow up to be a senior member. ;D ;D if OH lets me :)
-
Now I wonder if all the senior members + are female ::) ;)

hhhmmmmm, not for very much longer! ;D
-
I am a snr member, but not on the profile. ;D
-
I know the system was altered some time back with regard to the status of your membership, but can't for the life of me remember how it works. :P
-
I'm going to stay young by deleting last weeks posts..
I'll stay 189 forever.. ;D
-
Bangbang, I'm sorry to say ... it didn't work!
-
THink you get more credit if you post in small holder areas rather than coffee lounge or jokes....I am OK as I am never ever going to be senior!!
-
Sandy, you are going to be a senior :D
-
only 12 to go Sandy!
-
I've got to Hero member but now there's nothing to aim for.
-
A Senior Member has made 500 or more posts in the boards other than the Coffee Lounge, and the next level is Hero Member at 1000.
I've got to Hero member but now there's nothing to aim for.
You do! Super Hero (we have 2) is at 5000. ;D
Next week we'll also be introducing some different ways of recognising contributions to the forums, winning online shows etc, watch this space. :trophy:
-
I think there's a case for being able to restart the count every so often. Not everyone wants to be recognised, or indeed identified.
-
I rather fancy being a super hero ninja turtle poster; sorry had too much wine this evening :o
-
I used to post a lot and came off the forum for a while as I was shot down once too often, not coming off again as now have a bullet proof vest...and will let their bullets rick O shay!! ( spelt wrong I know), maybe if I'd had stayed on I could have been a super hero too...mind you I am of the same view as Small Farmer, I post to chat with people I like or want the opinion of or to put my opinion forward, never been competitive and need no reward for communicating to people I like communicating with !
-
fair shout!
-
perhaps we should have 'badges' for the amount we read etc
i'm not that experienced so often don't reply unless I can be of use but read with interest
-
Ooooh ,Small Farmer, what have you got to hide ?
I may be old but I refuse to grow up.
-
I certainly scan through a lot of animal related posts but never experienced enough to advise.....now I am nearly at senior level can I go back to fresh person?
-
Sandy, I know from your posts that I have read that you have a wealth of experience that could be of use to others.
Be proud of your status.
Sally
-
i agree with sally, had you not taken a 'holiday' your post count would be up in the 1000's and your opinions are heeded and provide a sensible, in tune and empathetic part of the hive/forum knowledge. long may it continue!!
-
Wowww thank you both so much for that, I am a bit emotional today and now have some tears...not bad ones but nice ones thankkkkkksss
-
I only post on threads I know about or am interested in, so status doesn't mean much to me, I'm afraid. ;D Don't even know what level I'm on till I look after posting this. ::) I was
curious nosey enough to see what it was all about though. ;D
-
Annie,
You are one of the two super heros Dan was referring to. :trophy:
-
And I'm the other one ::) Off to put my knickers on over my jeans.
Where's Hilary's mum - she's got nearly 4000 and hasn't been on for ages. Miss her :(

Yes, I've wondered that too - still no sign of her. Hope she's OK.
-
Ooooh ,Small Farmer, what have you got to hide ?
I am The Wicker Man
This forum like many others is a community which some people become reliant on. Seniority carries responsibility to others in the community, but that responsibility is not always recognised. Those who depend on the forum for social interaction can become vulnerable. Sharing personal information creates a different vulnerability.
Remember, it didn't end well for Neil Howie in the film.

This is very true, and we've always advised members not to post anything here that they wouldn't be happy saying or sharing in public.
Google indexes most of the forum (the Members Only board being the exception) so people (i.e. strangers) looking for all sorts of things end up here, and read your posts.
Remember, it didn't end well for Neil Howie in the film.
:D :D And you thought you were here through free will... ;)
-
Nah Dan , you got it wrong , Free Will was a film about a killer whale.. ;D
-
Ooh. Super hero. I'd better do more posting.
