Lambs can be so smug  ;D ;D  I love the one sitting on its mums back - great pic.  And of course I love Gotlands - never had any purebred lambs from mine so lovely to see them.

My lot would quickly strangle themselves with collars like that, get hooked up on something, but interesting to see an alternative to eartags.

Ahhh ...... sweet.

Like the one on mums back. One of our soay twins climbs on its mum but never quick enough with the camera.

Lets hope you never have to search for them in the middle of the night.... gorgeous dark colours!

Unfortunatley it looks like my Gotland gimmer (with some texel in, so not pure) has slipped her lamb(s) sometime after the Shetland tup left... she was due about 10 days ago, and no sign of an udder.... I was so looking forward to some interesting fleece.... :(

So what's the collars?

Hi all, thanks for your kind comments. The neck tags are from Dalton. They just make identification so much easier. Got the idea from David Barlow of the breed society.

Fabulous, Doras as well now! Good news. ;D ;D ;D. Hope they're all being good mums. Difficult sometime for the first-timers. So far my first-time girls are doing brilliantly. Gotties are generally cracking mums.
