I have just spent the afternoon digging ragwort out of the field that I had planned to put this years pigs in, the problem I have now is that I can't be sure that I have all the roots and as the pigs will be rooting about I am now worried about them eating them.

They will be fine, they will not eat anything that is likely to harm them.

if they r meat pigs, they will be in freezer before liver failure would occur. :o

from somebody that has lost cattle to ragwort the ragwort will get them before slaughter age esp if kunnies that are left to graze and the area is ragwort infested is it a chance you want to take :o :farmer:

The trick is to use a long pronged fork (I use a border fork) and wiggle it deep down under the roots. This wet weather should make it easier :)
