Hugh and the producers of the next River Cottage Spring series on Channel 4 are looking for more "Food Heroes" - people who are growing or producing their own food in surprising environments and in challenging ways. Are you, or is someone you know, producing wine against the odds on a 10th floor balcony? Have you managed to raise a family of goats on the roof of your city home?! If you think your project is out of the ordinary and will inspire others to start growing, producing or raising their own food in an extraordinary way then please get in touch.

Trouble is, I really don't want to be on TV, more of a secret & private food hero lool :&>

Linz sounds to me like you are already growing against the odds, think your situation would make a very interesting programme, think of all the people you could inspire, potatoes in the front lawn is inspirational. Its also educational, how many people have seen a potato actually growing. Could you grow kiwis over the front porch? Or rasperies in the hedge. Definitely put yourself forward for River Cottage. (I'll get someone to record it so I can see it here). HM
