I'm not ready with my fencing yet so if your sow is due shortly or has just given birth then the timing would be about right.
Preferable would like OSB's but anything easily handled for a newbie considered.
many thanks

We will have 12 British Lops available in 8 weeks from my two girls, Guinevere and Elsie. If you haven't looked into Lops, I can highly recommend them. I've had GOS, Berkshire and Large Blacks and keep coming back to Lops. They are desperately rare and they really shouldn't be. They are low maintenance and amazing mums.
They are a long pig, so great bacon and the meat is beyond delicious. They are without doubt the most docile and, yes, loving pig to have about the place. They are also fun and great conservation grazers. They love their greenery. Ours are from the Harmony and Cornishman (v rare) lines. I can also tell you that they don't need castrating. You just don't get boar taint on the meat with these (if you choose boars over gilts).
We are in mid Devon. PM me if you want to know more.

Hi Sally - one of my Berkshire has just farrowed but all her litter are already booked . However, Mollie the Middle White is due next and she's due early June. That's probably a bit too long for you to wait ;D but if you want to just come along and see our pigs just for the fun of it, you'd be very very welcome. We're on the Carms/Pembs border, 7m north of Whitland. PM me is you'd like to come visit

Blinkers,
Ideally I would like something before yours are ready. However, I will bear in mind your kind offer to come and have a look. I will M you if we are travelling down that way.
thanks
