Title: electric fencing
Post by: thestephens on April 03, 2012, 05:29:36 pm
we dont use electric fencing with our pigs but we were letting them into a fresh field but husband had bales of haylage in so he put electric fencing round the bales to keep the pigs away. When i went to put the pigs in for the night, here was one lonely pig standing in the electric square with the haylage looking very sorry for himself!
It was like a real David Blane moment......a mystery, none of the fencing moved etc!

 :)

When pigs first encounter electric fencing, when they get the first zap, they tend to run straight through the fencing.
