Hi HT,
You will need to seperate the mum and piglets, put the ppiglets in a large dog crate and transport them in the vehicle, please do not put mum and piglets in the trailer together all that will happen is the piglets will get stood on by mum. Better to be safe than sorry.  :pig: :pig:

Agree with lill - we move mum and then take the piglets - mum after four weeks will love to be moved tempted by some food in a bucket into the trailer - then go back for the piglets - rest assured this will be fine - Once mum is in the new home - and you then get a couple of the piglets to her - she cannot count and will be reassured that she has her piglets with her -then just drop the others in - there will be a lot of chattering/grunting but all should be okay within a few minutes - be relaxed I find that is the answer.

Some of mine can count their piglets - you can almost hear them counting as they are checking where they all are.............others couldn't give a *@!&£: how many they've got  :pig:
