The white bantam cockerel peering in the bucket, and the large brown and white cockerel to its left, were in a batch of blue eggs given to me by a neighbour last year. There is also a smaller version of the brown and white one, also a cockerel. I am assuming the white one is a pekin x, but not sure about the brown and white ones - they have very large distinctive combs. Also from the same blue eggs I have an enormous white cockerel, who has a slight black ruff on his neck. And a very stunning multicoloured cockerel. Out of the 12 eggs I seem to have more than my share of cockerels - but quite a selection of sizes and breeds!!!
