We hope to create an orchard, grow lots of veg and have a few chicken to start with but are trying to find someone to plough our field so we can get cracking. I have read of previous posts re planning permission and agree, it is so difficult to understand. We plan to get our own tractor once we know what would be the best sort to get so would like a shed to store it in.
I will start taking a look at all the relevant posts. I am a bit new at this posting so hope I don't mess up
Cheers

Hi from a (still) sunny central France. Good luck with all the tree planting - I hope you have plans for all the fruit. We have just one plum tree and a couple of walnuts but spent weeks collecting the surplus apples from our neighbours gardens and hedgerows - pigs luved em and we made a few litres of cider.
Enjoy the planting ( and watering) - good luck.

Hi from North Yorkshire
Make sure if you're planting trees they have adequate guards against rabbits as we've lost six apple trees to the little perishers this winter! Tres expensive to replace as they were about five years old!
