Title: Smallholders in Gloucestershire
Post by: gorgeous on March 22, 2012, 03:35:02 pm
It seems that pretty well every county or area has a smallholder group of some kind,  but I can't find one in Gloucestershire.  Does anyone know of a smallholder group, or would be interested in joining one for mutual support, ideas, courses, learning, experts - interested in any ideas!

The St Briavels Parish Grasslands Project and Transition Forest of Dean (and Newent, and Monmouth) both support and are peopled by many smallholders, while not being a specific smallholding organisation.  I'll ask around at the next meeting of the Grasslands Project and see if anyone knows of one, shall I?

Where abouts are you in Gloucestershire?

Hi, I'm in NW Glos - about 7 miles from Newent.  Yes, that would be really helpful, thank you.

Okay, there is a meeting either next week or the week after, and I will ask then.

If there isn't one., maybe we should set one up!

I take it you are part of Transition Newent?
