KushtiBok Sixpence arrived today at 5pm. Fairly easy delivery, needed a little hand to come out as he's quite a big boy. He's a keeper (castrated pet for my daughter)
Mum is feeding him beautifully. She's a devoted mum and today's life changing experience has been incredible for the whole family who witnessed his birth ;D

congratulations (again!)
See. it wasn't that bad was it?!
So glad the family were home in time to be there. He's a real beauty
How is Reggie. did the noise freak him out?
give Puffin a big hug from us ;)

;D It was fine. Really enjoyed it to be honest! Puffin didn't make a sound! she laboured almost in silence with just the occasional bleat - was quite surprised.
Her whole labour was so straight forward from start to finish - just been out and we have afterbirth so stage 3 finished too (phew)
-
bless her, what a champ!
Twins next year ;)
And hubby is ok with him staying?
-
I think Hubby was quite moved by it all. He'd nipped out to Tesco leaving me with a labouring goat and 4 small children (g*t) so when I heard the car in the drive, I shouted "Quick, nose and 2 feet" and he dropped the shopping everywhere, ran up and managed to film it!
Not sure about twins next year though ;) next lot would definitely have to be sold or we'd be a sanctuary! This is different, we promised milli a kid.

Lovely picture ;D
-
I thought you promised her a female kid!
And of course hubby will love baby goats - he's only human!!
so glad its gone well, you all deserve some good
-
AAAwwww! so cute ! ;D
-
Congratulations! and welcome, Sixpence :trophy:
-
Congratulations! He is gorgeous and I'm so pleased you are keeping him. :)
-
Told you kid(s) were on the way within 24hours! Glad it all went ok, I know it would have been nicer if it had been a female....
I have just come back from feeding my lot, they look a bit frightening today, just come back from disbudding and billy's got a ring on... but feeding well from the bottle already....

What a gorgeous little boy and mum looks so proud.
Bless them.
-
He is gorgeous!! Well done, Puffin (and you too, of course!)
-
Congratulations to all
He looks a chunky chap, built for cart pulling ;D
It's no surprise you ended up deciding to keep him, so how is hubby taking all this?, sounds like he's softening if
he's prepared to film it :)
-
Excellent, what a little sweetheart
-
Well done , lovely little chap, now don't just stand there watching him for hours on end , go and get some work done.
-
Wonderful! So glad it all went well with no big drama, other than dropped shopping!
Of course your husband is thrilled - who could resist such a handsome little chap?
I'm hoping for similar enthusiasm when my girl kids - might be the optimum time to suggest fencing off a chunk of lawn...
-
Hubby is quietly thrilled I think ;) I don't think he expected me to get in and do they slimey bits so was almost a bit taken aback while I degunked kids face, nose etc and dried him off, got him latched on. I think he was worried I would panic about it all, hence his trepidation.
Yesterday we made the hard decision to remove our 4 girls from their school. It was incredibly hard and very emotional, they haven't been able to say goodbye as we made the decision literally as PUffin was pushing (!) so I think keeping someone good and lovely out of yesterday was important to us all :)
Oh...and as he left for work this morning he said "phone the fencing man, get yourself some decent fencing put in..and a gate", kiss on the head and he was gone :)

ooh that is a lovely story, well done all, and welcome little sixpence :D
