Title: routine parasite med for goats

our young billy has lost hair off both his back legs. no other goat has tho. is there a routine parasite treatment for goats?
would louse powder be ample?
id rather inject tho.

You couldn't just put something on for lice and hope thats it. It could be just that's how he rubs against his pen side? I think there are different treatments for different parasites. But these things are quite difficult to treat, if nothing obvious I know people have had success with Camerosa ointment. But I never had to deal with anything like that.

its on his hock area both legs, looks at like "eczema". they r bedded on straw.

Try googling Neem oil - I've found it great for mange and mites

wonderful for human headlice too - blended with tea tree essential oil.

When our Reggie had some lice the Vet prescribed an injection of Invermectin I think it was, he was due worming same time so she said it would do the lot in one go. which it did.
