Title: House, Smallholding, Ifor Williams, Hurdles, Troughs, etc etc etc,
Post by: Hairy Hogs on March 11, 2012, 12:03:14 pm
Hi there

I have been reasonably active with the breeding  of lovely rare breed pigs over the last two years or so, however the day is approaching and we are 'moving'!

An acre of walled garden is never going to ploughed by piggies, so we have some high quality stuff to sell!

Its worth a 'punt id guess!?!?!  http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-33386716.html (http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-33386716.html)

The Pigs have all gone, now, the Tamworths made it to Holland with minimal fuss......................

We have a good little registered domain, and website which might suit someone, we get at least 4 calls a week asking about weaners etc, it saddens me to say no!  It is regeistered on 'Best Of Breeds, and well 'Hit' from its association with forums such as this.  A lot of follow on calls are already coming from 'peeps' wanting young stock for this spring.

Our website is  www.hairyhogs.co.uk (http://www.hairyhogs.co.uk)   It was set up at great cost last two years ago, and would give someone a good springboard into rare breed pigs.  Offers if your interested?  Were not greedy, its just pointless no one using it really!

www.hairyhogs.co.uk (http://www.hairyhogs.co.uk)

We have two of these left.

and one of these

Tony Yorks finest John Henry arks, need a bit of timber treatment but good and solid and check out his website for the new price!  £250

A great size, Ifor Williams trailer, high roofed so cleaning is never a problem, its hardly been used, but the Tamworths used it as a bed for one night and ate both the front light lenses!  About a fiver from Ifor Williams, otherwise 'Perfect condition.  Offers in the region of £1500  Check out the new price?!?!?!

10 almost brand new galvanised hurdles.  Offers?

We have three paddocsk to take down, or rather someone else does if theyre interested?  Loads of almost new 3 inch round treated fence posts, and I think 8 almost new 8ft galvanised field gates.

When we do something we do it well!!! ;)

Please take a look, your welcome to ocome and see near Olney, but please keep offers real!  I am only selling up because were moving, not because pigs dont pay! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for looking
Jason

would love the lot too, but money and distance holds me back unfortunately. :(

I'm sure you will shift those no problem, and good luck with the house sale etc :)

I've been trying to work out what model of trailer you've got. Is it a TA5?

Hi there.

Thanks for all your replies!

I think it is a high roofed version of the T5 trailer.  Most of them are the silly ones with the low roof, I just dont see the point of something yoy have to crawl around in too clean.

The paddocks are 40 by 40, metres, with cross dividing lines.  So blocks of 4 paddocks within the 40 by 40.  4 paddocks 20 x 10 basically, x 3 because we have we blocks!  If that makes sense?

Thanks again and regards
Jason

Wow - what a stunning place! If I had £1million and it was in Scotland, I'd be tempted  ;D Mind you if it was in Scotland, I wouldn't need a million quid.

you might need more than a millon    how long from the house has been built      not many trees to fill the wood shed down your way ;) ;) :farmer:

I am interested in the trailer, but I have to discuss finances with OH. :D
Can it be towed by a 2L MPV?

Yes they are, I have had some 'enquiries' however, first come first served I'm afraid.

The trailer is fantastic, compact enough to sensible, big enough to get 8 porkers in.

Its in superb condition, it just needs a light lense for the front, I found the other one in the field! :o

Hurdles, are pretty much as new,

regards
Jason
