I have just hatched 23 amberlinks.....they are all yellow except 4 that are golden orangy colour and one that is yellow with black dots.....any idea if they are colour sex linked????
-
I always thought they were hence the amberLINKS, but from what you describe ???
-
Just had a quick google, apparently they are feather sexed not sexlinked. So you should find out in a couple of days
-
What does that mean...feather sexed????? what will I find out????
-
If I have got it correct, the males develop their wing feathers sooner than the pullets. So you should find out how many cocks and pullets you have, almost as quickly as sexlinked chicks.

I hope that makes sense
