When I let the boys out this morning, I noticed that Billy wasnt as squeaky clean in the bottom department as he usually is. He also wasnt as boisterous as usual, so I took it that his tummy was a bit off. Also, Toby seemed to be a bit more barrel like than usual, although his number two's were quite normal.
With all this in mind, thinking back to what Wytsend told me many months ago, I decided not to give them any of their "biscuits" this evening, only hay. I had told them earlier in the afternoon that they would be foregoing their evening meal and why however, they had obviously forgotten by the time I put them to bed.
The look of sheer disdain on their little faces was amazing. They kept walking round their house in circles, touching their food bowl as if to remind me that I'd forgotten something. By the time I locked their door and said good night, the bowl had been kicked over to the other side if their house in disgust.
I will be giving them a few biscuits tomorrow morning, with their wormer included, then I will restrict them to hay again until Billy is back to his normal self.
Ooh the worry of these animals!!

I think Billy was a bit better today, I could find NO trace of the runs in the goathouse, which I take as a good sign. He still isnt as cheeky and quick on his feet as usual, although he did jump up on the windowsill (his party trick) today, which he didnt do yesterday. I tried to give them their wormer stuff this morning, I usually mix it with a few biscuits, but sod's law, I caught Toby eating them but not Bill, I think he knew his medicine was inside. His tail was a bit higher today too, and he did jump up at me when I gave them ONE cabbage leaf each. Im hoping that it wouldnt have hurt him. Ill see how he goes over the weekend, but if he is still under the weather, Ill have to pop him in the back of the car and take him to the vets. Im not leaving anything to chance, but Im hopeful that he will be better tomorrow.
