Title: GOAT SITTING IN RETURN FOR MILK AYRSHIRE

I`ve been milking goats off and on for 30 years and am happy to goat sit if anyone wants leave their goat with me for a holiday, weekend away or night out, depending on how far away you are. Happy to take goats in return for milk. 
 
Have 43 acre steading Ayrshire so there is room. My number is 07980042167 Sue

Hi, that sounds like a great idea, but wouldn't the 13 day standstill in Scotland make it impossible to bring goats to you for anything less than two weeks?

I am also not sure what the legal position would be re (unpasteurised) milk from a goat not in your ownership for human consumption.... just wouldn't want to have trading standards coming down like a ton of bricks on you....

as long as SUE has an isolation facility and the rules are adhered to it is six days :farmer:  now milk she could get some pigs ;)
