Hello fellow countryside lovers, what a fantastic forum this is. I've been avidly following the sheep section in the past week and what a great active network of shepherds are out there to offer advice and support. I can't wait to take a look at some of the other forums too....when the animals etc. allow.

So, about me, my OH and I moved up to the Peak District just over 3 years ago when we grew out of our smallholding in Surrey. I have an expanding flock of Greyface Dartmoors and am delighted to see some familiar faces from the old GFD forum here. I also have a small fold of Highland Cattle and am looking forward to the arrival of our first calves over the next couple of months. I have a couple of border collies, Bronny and Fudge, one that adores the sheep and cows and the other that finds them incredibly tedious.

I try my hand at growing a few veggies, tricky at 1400ft when the wind rips through the cover of the polytunnel....hmm

So that's it from me - I look forward to 'meeting' some of you at the forums.

Oh yes, in case you were wondering, my forum name is an old nickname from junior school...many, many years ago.
