Faerie, my lovely Toggenburg, kidded yesterday. I was on my own and tried and tried but in the end had to get the vet out as the first kid was large and extremely stuck. To make me feel better, it took a vet and vet nurse with ropes to get him (of course!) out - but he was followed by a lovely little girl. Merlin and Lady Elinor, welcome to the world!

Really glad it all ended well - it's such a worry at kidding time all the planning and waiting etc

Katie - Milli was wondering if she could come with me to visit during the week? is there a time after school that I could come over with her? she's keeping all fingers and toes crossed that we get a girl now (!)

Exactly what I was going to say. Goat watching is therapeutic.
