Our local sheep farmer just texted to say that he has a few orphans for me as promised. Today is our 10th wedding anniversary and I cancelled our weekend away as we knew there would be lambs coming 'soon' so this makes everything feel worth it now!
Will settle the lambs in, lock them up in their cosy shed, have a meal out, come back and give them their night feed and cuddles!

3 little boys. all not long castrated and had their tails done so feeling a bit hacked off with life I think. they are currently snuggled in a nice clean, straw filled shed with a warm heat lamp! one of them had some milk, other 2 not keen so will try later.
thanks for lovely messages ;D photo's tomorrow when the boys look less pained!

Pet lambs are such fun - I think I'm having a year off from them this year but I will probably regret it - demanding but just so special - looking forward to the pic's once they've uncrossed their legs poor wee soles

I did ask the farmer Remy but my ditzy brain has lost all useful information recently lol. I am sure he said suffolk was in there somewhere (I know they are Xbreeds)
He said there's some 'white ones' from next week if I want more but I have decided to keep my little flock very small as with all my other commitments I cannot start lambing, caring for poorlies and so on until at least my children are older. At least with just 5 sheep I'm hoping I can manage? much as I'd love to go back for those white girls.....
