Southernwood withstands Shetland winds! It is a very fragrant shrub that you treat like a fuschia. You prune like a fuschia and just shove the cuttings in soil to grow more plants easily. Plus you can use the leaves in cakes etc. It does not have fllowers but is a very attractice feathery shrub which gives off the most beautiful scent when brushed against.

I have a weeping willow in a pot that looks lovely in the summer but a little bare in the winter but is happy in a large pot and moved from Perthshire to Aberdeenshire and is still alive after 5 years - I keep it just next to an area of very tall conifers - need watering if it's very dry - probably about 3-4 times in the summer.
