Hi everyone
Nice to be here, I'm Rosie from South West Scotland.
Keeper of Dexter cows, Ryeland sheep, Herdwick sheep and a large enough flock of mules, Pygmy goats, kune kune pigs, geese, ducks, chickens, too many horses from mini shetlands to heavy cobs, donkeys, dogs. cats and I'm sure I'll have forgotten something!
I run my 60 acre holding single handed and love every minute of it ;D

Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome, what a friendly bunch I can see I'm going to like it here ;D
Mad goat woman, mad house - great I'll feel right at home haha
Rosemary, thanks yes we will defiantly be visiting the Smallholders show, can't wait for that - is there a website?
Bert, yes theres always a fair bit to do, haha I have 3 chimps that are my children that like to get involved so it's great. Experience - most of the time it's trial and error I'm afraid, I've only had cows for 2 years everything else for about 10 years (and yes it's still trial and error)!
Mammyshaz, mmm sometimes it can be a nightmare but I wouldn't give it up for the world ;)
OH - left him in favour of my small farm, it was kind of him or the animals (or him or a life) so I went it alone and moved to Scotland I've never looked back ;D
Thanks again everyone :-*
