... does any-one know of a source of day old chicks .... in a reasonable distance from The Trossachs ....

Hi Rosemary .....

... not really too bother ..... we have ex-batts at the moment ..... and are laying well, just collected 10 eggs from 15 birds ... but some of them are coming to the end of their productive life .....

So, don't mind if they are Hybrids or Black Rocks or Rhode Islands ..... some-thing hardy ....

we could have some soon if u wanted. wer in aberdeenshire. is that too far.
we have white sussex or white sussex x araucana (green eggs layers).

I was just about to post the same thing, the closest i can find online is lochlomond which is a 3.5hour drive from me...anyone know anyone on the west coast of scotland?  or how muchi should expect to pay or for delivery? - i'mlooking to increase mylaying flock so happywith hybrids or anything that lays well as i alreadyhave 30 brown layers plus a mixed collection of sussex, white stars, and a couple of unidentifiable crosses!

Yes we have black rock cross bureford brown cream leg bar £2 pound vaccinated should have road and sussex next week.im att perth to day abbadeen saterday.
