Title: Scot Grey Eggs
Post by: Oneeyedhen on February 08, 2012, 08:53:48 pm
My lovely Scots Greys are with a cockeral and have been laying about a month now.  I would sell fertilized eggs to anyone willing to pick them up. We're near Perth. Thanks  :chook:

I'd love some Scots Greys but don't have an incy or a broody hen  :(

Hopefully I'll have them a while if you ever have a broody hen and still fancy some. I'm really pleased with them :)

We keep Scots Greys and find they rear their broods very well themselves  :chook:

Hi
Would be interested in some eggs as just set up my incubator.  Whereabouts are you? We are just north of Dundee.
How much are you asking.
Kind regards

Rosemary, if you want to borrow my incubator you'd be welcome to it. Bit of a hike, though, unless you were heading towards Edinburgh.....

Thanks for all the replies. Mintytwoshoes, we're 8 miles out of perth, heading towards Crieff, at Madderty.  I was thinking £5 for 6. Would anyone be interested if i got some boxes for posting them?  Personally I feel its better if they are picked up.
I cant wait to have a broody hen too, I'm very pleased with them.
Thanks again,
OEH

I am also interested in some Scots grey eggs for hatching if you can post them.
I saw some of these chickens at a show in the City of London a couple of years ago, and now that we keep poultry it would be lovely to have some of these stunning animals.

Hi, I've just tried to post photos but it keeps telling me they're too big, any advice?
I've got egg boxes ordered for posting them, I'll let everyone know once they arrive.
Thanks  :chook:

Try either taking the pics again with the camera set to a lower resolution (640 x 480 is fine for forums), or reduce the size of them using a free program like "Irfanview". HTH!
