Title: Proud Mum!
Post by: JulieS on February 07, 2012, 01:14:40 pm
Just wanted to share some wonderful news with my friends here.

Chris, my son, has won an amazing award and I am so very proud of him.

We're off to St James Palace next week, where Prince Charles is going to present the award.

So two nights in a posh London Hotel and chance to spend time with Chris.

Luckily the local farmer is on hand to help here as one of my gilts is due to farrow while I'm away - hopefully she'll keep her trotters crossed until I get back   :) :) :)

Whats the award for?  They do a very in depth check on you and your family but I bet you have not hidden secrets for them to dig out!!!

I went with my eldest, she got her DofE Gold and I went with her but although I was slim, I made the mistake of wearing a chineese style dress in brown, when I sat down the top showed my clevage and the slit went up my thighs...I kept grasping them together as we were with the Duke...then I worked as Organiser for the Dof E and had to meet a lot of dignitories and often put my foot in it ::) ::)
