I was in the field trying to persuade the pony to come back into her stable when I noticed one of the chinese geese sat in a corner looking unhappy. I went over and picked her up, she is very tame. She sat quietly in my arms and chatted to the other chinese goose so I put her back on the ground. After five minutes she still hadn't moved from where I put her so I picked her up again with the intention of putting her somewhere warm. As I held her I felt and heard a thud from behind me. The silly thing had just laid her first ever egg :D She looked so miserable beforehand I thought she was ill. Unfortunately the egg broke but the dog had a tasty snack :yum:
