Title: Movement paperwork!

Got 3 pigs booked in for tuesday, now we've not moved any since the new electronic orders have come in, do i have to use these or can i use up my pile of paper ones that i know how to fill in? if not what do i have to do? i understand its all txt based (no mobile signal here anyhow... but do i have to sign up etc.. or what?

I use the electronic aml for slaughter now, just book it on line print two copies of the aml off, (one foryour records and one for abbatoir) i don't do the texting thing its not compulsory and its all gone well touch wood!

Thanks all for the replies, going to use the old paper forms, but have signed up for the EML system too, but its not been processed yet, no idea how long that will take... i didn't  know it all runs through the BPA (till i filled it inso probably won;t be quick! ;D
any way will let you how we get on,  8 am tomorrow theyre be loaded for their short trip to messres griffiths.

You only need to go thro the BPA if you don't have a computer of your own. When you do an e-aml your paperwork normally comes back to you same day or day after via your e-mail and you just print it off.

there are 3 ways to inform the relevant bodies, by paperwork, sending it by post, by fax or their website but you need to remember and register first.
