Title: Wanted, croft ( assignation or owner occupied ) or small holding near Oban.

Pretty much as the title says, we're looking for a croft assignation or an owner occupied croft ( or smallholding ) to purchase, with or without house, within commuting distance of Oban.
We don't mind something that needs any amount of work and are quite content to live in a static caravan whilst we either make the house habitable or self build.
We've registered with the local estate agents, stuck adverts up in Tesco and the Co-op so I just thought I'd mention it here - if anyone has one, or knows of one, or knows of a croft not being worked, could you let me know?

Good luck with that...i've been trying to get my croft assigned tome for 6 years now.....its a nightmare! 

on another note, i heard there wasan estate agent that way who sold croft land that didn't actually belong to the seller and ended in a lengthy legal battle so be careful, and good luck!
