hi all :wave:
country boy that moved to the city (nottingham not london !), pined for the country since the day i left and finally moving back to my ancestoral homeland - herefordshire which is THE shire !
we should take possesion of the house and 2/3 of an acre in the next few weeks
i have kept chickens for many years and grown my own veg but only on a back garden scale, although not the larget smallholding at all and actually not much more than a large back garden, we have lots planned, and no doubt we will be asking for others advice on here
first few jobs to do are some tree felling, logging, a awful lot of hedge work, fencing and a generally tidy up of a 2/3 acre paddock that has been left for 12 months
let the fun commence ...................................

Welcome 'Smallest'. Ours is only half an acre -I think of it as a microholding. Plenty to keep you busy there. Could do with the loan of some goats to clear it for you.
