Title: Help I need tagging advice

I am just about to tag my six piglets but I have never fitted a tag in a pigs ear so I asking can anyone give me some advice on the best place to tag the ear and the best place to fit the tag photos would be good also

Hello,

We'd always spray the tag (i.e. the part that will pierce the skin) with Iodine spray first to ensure the ear won't get infected.

Thanks for all the advice not looking forward to the deed as I have heard them scream when we tried to move them I think that will be nothing to the noise they will make when I punch a brass tag through there ears

The deed is done and there wasn't to much noise fed them then tagged them when the didn't see it coming  ;)
