we had 3 weaners for fattening 2 boys 1 girl they're ready to go anytime soon
However OH noticed the girl didn't come out to feed yesterday morning staying in the ark and whilst she ventured out last night only took a little and went back in She's the same this morning and delicate on her legs he thinks
Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Don't know how old the girl is but we find that some of our females at around 9-10 months start to get PMT and won't eat or venture out of the ark for 12 - 24 hrs.
Having said that, it would be worth taking her temperature, and don't let her go more than 24 hrs like this. Then I would call the vet in, especially if she has a high temperature.

yes check her temp from what you are describing it COULD be pneumonia but check temp then ask at vets they should give you a course of antibiotic for her without a visit :farmer:

Definitely check her temp - also have a look/feel over her skin for any raised rash. Could possibly be erisypelas (one of our pigs got it 2 weeks before the final journey date) and talk to the vet

erysipelas was my first thought too. a shot of pen and strep is needed sooner rather than later as it needs acting on asap.

pen and strep
how long can that be stored for once pierced? i have a bottle in ou fridge and was wondering whether to bin it?
-
pen strep seems to have perked her up  she's 6 and half months :)

make sure she gets the full course and she should be ok.
check withdrawal period prior to booking them in.
