I have started writing patterns for extreme knitting but I have forgotten the ones that people were most interested in as I would like to release them first.
I have 2 done except for sizes and then they will be ready to publish, what do you think I should charge for them as you can't find many patterns for this type of knitting.
-
Ellisr,
You were going to do a pattern for a knitted coat. I would definitely be interested in that one.
I went wool shopping on Friday and think I paid about £2.50 for a printed pattern. I have also noticed one of the retailers selling them for £2.55 on line.
So does about 99p (only said 99p as it sounds more enticing for people than £1) for the easy patterns to about £1.50 for those more complicated sound fair?

The jacket is still in progress, I have found that youo can't really do complex shaping with extreme knitting as it looks too bulky so I have started on a simpler design which hopefully will have a hood and square neckline.
I have been run off my feet with the items for the exhibition as I have done some new designs which are practical but very 'designer' I hope to have photos to post today of a wrap bolero.

And the new wrap bolero

Thats really sweet thank you but I'm sure your knitting is fab (because it was done by you)
I have just been playing with multiple yarn and different ways to make wristwarmers and I have found a really quick way to make some, just wish I could remember how to crochet flowers now to make them pretty.

I would love an extreme pattern for rugs / throws, scarf, cowl and a bag and would be happy to pay £2 per pattern.

Well I will be publishing on my website soon cowl, scarf and rug pattern and even a shrug/bolero in the pipeline.
Should be available by next weekend.

-

thanks for your help with my order, the patterns look great, going shopping at the weekend now for needles :) Please let me know when there is a rug or throw pattern for sale, thanks

Still working on them as I'm sure I can do better.
I have been working on a cable rug as well but just not there quite yet, I also am playing around with fibres and yarns to work out what is good. A lap rug is the easiest and can be made with loose weave as it doesn't really have to stand up to feet.
I am also trying to find a good backing material that does not detract from the rugs, but with the exhibition coming up I really need a 72 hour day.
