I've just had an amusing Pm from a friend in the USA they showed how to make a chicken cone out of thin galvanized sheet , to slide a chicken in so it's head come out the narrow end .... so you can use seceteurs to cut its head off or castrating pliers to break its neck or raise the chicken filled cone up a bit and pull ( but not too hard ) to break its neck .
I had a funy thought as a result of the email .. motorway traffic cone anybody ?
Hang the cone base upwards from a tree branch /beam etc and away you go .

That's what we use. :)

Yes, I use something similar, only hanging from rope.
I've found they sometimes give them away for free at the side of the road ;D. (Actually we found ours in a ditch, but seeing as it had clearly been there for several years, I didn't feel too guilty about it!!).

If you have a white Transit van and a dayglo waistcoat you can pick up any amount for free ::) ;D ;D

thats not all they pick up in white transit vans. Here in France we have the same fraternity using the white vans fpr picking stuff up - stuff belonging to other people if you get my drift. ::)

When I was at school the current class idiot had one of those on his head and sat in the corner.
