Title: An old mill
Post by: RUSTYME on January 05, 2012, 04:45:00 pm
Thought that some woujd be interested in the Knockando mill.
I heard about it on radio 4's open country . It is a 200 year old woolen mill . There is a website for it , just google the name , or go onto radio 4's open country web page , and follow the link .
It looks a lovely place , can only see tiny pics on my mobile .
Cheers Russ

Thanks, wonderful to see it has survived, as you say it looks a lovely fascinating place, with a great history. The throws etc they produce are beautiful as well.

wasnt that the one bidding to get funding on the TV programme Restoration a few years back? (presented by Griff Rhys Jones). It was one of my fave candidates.
