congrats felder, we have pedigree hampshire sheep also and are both due on the 28th december :sheep: :sheep:

Why the hurdle across the top? They don't look too jumpy from here?
I have never used the lamb macs, one thing that came int my mind - don't they sweat underneath and then get cold that way? Probably not...

That ewe is just soo quick, we nearly lost her over the fence.
They are all in the polytunnel now due to the lovely weather we are having and about to have (sorry Scotland not a patch on your weather i know)
And that ewe has gone really quiet can touch her and fuss her and her lamb.
We don't use the macs all the time, some of our lambs are too big to fit them at birth anyway! we use if it's a cold night or if mum is exhausted and can't lick off properly then we dry lamb with straw and put a mac on. We have never had a rejection this way and the lambs don't sweat if they are outside or if it is cold weather, as soon as they are strong enough we take them off.
Also some mums wont tolerate the macs on their lambs and rip them off
