I'm so excited to have found this fabulous forum :D I haven't seen much I'm not interested in so far!
I am aspiring to become an accidental smallholder :) We're just on the edge of the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex and started, as so many people have, with a few chickens in the garden. We made the most of our broody hen this summer and put her on eggs. Three tiny little chicks are now our biggest chickens, two of whom are for the table. At the end of September I became the very proud owner of our first pigs! 4 beautiful Saddlebacks- they're truly fabulous
I am now considering if I've got room for a couple of orphan lambs next to my veggie patch next summer...
I'm really looking forward to seeing and hearing what everyone's getting up to and sharing information on many trials and achievements :yum:
