Lord what a weekend we've got lambs popping out everywhere. Why is it when a ewe who knocks you over when you've got the feed bucket in your hand, turns into the fightiest most difficult ewe to catch even when her lamb's head is hanging out her behind!!!
I am in seriuos need of sleep this morning pulled an allnighter last night up every two hours dilivered one and another one started. it's like they are saying " i want one of those"
Soon be over i hope.

Cheers everyone, had a quiet night and a good sleep feel sooo much better. I love lambing too love the smell of the lambs and that warm milky smell you get from the pens.
We've invested in a polytunnel and it's going up this week. Lots of money we can't really afford but we do so need it, lambing out this time of year is really hard even though we've had good weather so far. We 've lambed outside for 6 years now and it isn't getting any easier and we are not getting any younger!
So hand in pocket and the tunnel goes up.

I know of someone who hires a small marquee for lambing. I don't know whether this would work out cheaper, though, I suppose, you could use the tunnel for the rest of the year.

THANKS ;D
We are hoping to use the tunnel until we get full planning for our barn. They are really delaying us on very stupid reasons. That and the planning woman " forgot " to ring the highways people
