my daughter s homwork tonight is to write a christmas poem, i thought id share it with you cos it made me laugh!
Turkey Doomsday!
on christmas day, a day of giving
please give a thought for the turkey nation
for as we are dancing and carol singing
they are preparing for complete desolation
for as we give and laugh and play
we also eat a scrumptious dinner
for the turkey this is a fowl day,
which makes their population thinner.
But there is something we can do
to give them their salvation,
eat duck or goose or some other bird
they will give you satisfaction!
not bad for 11 years old, i thought and appropriate for here too!
