Title: New to the forum, and looking for a man !!

Hi everyone,

We've just signed up to the forum and posted in the Introductions section.

We are looking for loan of a boar to service  :love: our two Saddleback gilts, in the Lancashire area.
We are able to collect, house and feed him for a month or so and will happily pay the going rate/supply weaners. We would prefer a Saddleback or GOS and could collect any time in December.

Please let me know if anyone can help out or suggest where to look.

Check the saddleback website www.saddlebacks.org.uk (http://www.saddlebacks.org.uk) or the GOS website www.oldspots.org.uk (http://www.oldspots.org.uk) where there is a list of boars for hire by area.

Hopefully you will find a boar - but just in case, thought I'd mention that I used Deerpark's Saddleback (by AI) and can vouch for his offspring!

Thanks for everyone's replies, looks like we have found a boar locally via the sabblebacks.org website. We are planning to go and see him next weekend  :pig:

I'll keep everyone up to date with how we get on.
