				Hi everyone...

It's been a long time since i've been a visitor to the forum... been up to my eyes and ears with crafting stuff... and the reason for my visit is to rehome my chickens..

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post today....,  I have get rid of my chickens and sell my Eglu.   I live in a residential area and have a rat problem :(  I have the pest control guy coming out tomorrow.

The problem is not the chickens, it's my rabbits the rats are trying to get :(  But I have neighbours close by, and unfortunately the livestock has to go.

I have kept chickens for the last 6 years and loved every minute, and I will miss them dearly

my little pekin partridge bantam called brenda, she is 4 and my other hen is about 8ish and a cross, she looks like a  bit like a welsummer (but isnt).

 Now ...

The hens are free to good home and go with the Eglu, but if someone just wants the hens thats fine.

The Eglu is £150.00 .. it comes complete with extra long run, glug and grub handing feeders and also a rain/sun shade that covers the whole run.   I also have a container with spare clips and pins for it

Please contact me if you are interested... Many thanks for taking time to read my post

Hello, where about are you? if you are close i should be able to rehome the hens

-
I'd take the lot but I can't afford the eglu and without another coop I reckon mine would be too crowded and give your girls a hard time.

Hope you find homes for them or if anyone has a spare shed/coop/eglu they don't want do let me know ;)

Thanks Cameron... I have sent you a PM

				Hi Rosemary...

The hens are still in the eglu.. and it's not going to its new home until my hens are re-homed.

I'm just waiting for Cameron to pm me back to see if he still wants them.

i could take them for you, there is room in my henhouse for another couple, and hey would be free range here, but there is the distance to consider.

Hi there  I would be interested in giving your 2 hens a home. I live in Kirkcaldy and could pick them up asap if you still have them.

 Thanks

				Hi. Sarah,

I am working mozambique just now, 40 + degrees over here just now not like Scotland, we have 2 coops and a nice run for the chickens in Arbroath Angus and at present only 3 chickens so although we can't take your eglu we could take your chickens and they will be well looked after by my wife and young granddaughters.

You can give her a call on 07725982711and just say John Alias scottshsmokie contacted you.

If you have re-homed the chickens no problem and have a merry Xmas and Happy New year from Mozambique
