Title: Car battery operated water warmer

I can't remember if I have read a thread on here before about getting a warming pad for a poultry drinker to run off a car battery.

The only ones I can find for sale are mains operated.

Anybody got any ideas on how I could make or buy a car battery operated one?

Sorry, just replied to your other thread. How about a 12V car battery heater or similar from these guys (http://www.engineheaters.co.uk/)?  My only concern is that this might overheat, if there is no thermostat etc, but it's surely worth a thought.
