Title: it must be love!!
Post by: Hatty on November 10, 2011, 07:11:40 pm
This is my 7 year old American Bull Dog & 2 chicks in the brooder, she spends 3 or 4 hours a day just sat with her chin on the cabinet gazing at them

I currently have exactly the same situation, but with just 1 chick and my cat. He is remarkably restrained about trying to eat him! But does like to sit and watch, especially when the chick is running about on the floor.

If anybody happens to have a chick going spare in North Fife, I will gladly take it. Mine is very lonely and constantly demands attention. He/she is 5 days old and is sooooo noisy!

One of my German Shepherds went broody when I was feeding lambs, she stole the teddy of my bed and made herself a nest.
