I have bought some Strawberry spinach seeds . Why? Well because they are different :D Has anyone grown them and what are they like?
-
I like strawberries and I hate spinnach.......I wonder which they are most like :D
-
And I'm just the opposite, I love spinach and hate strawberries(except for the smell of them)
-
Sounds like someone's been perusing the same "seeds for weird edible things" websites I have!
You'll have to let us know the outcome :)

It looks lovely (the picture on the seed packet) Spinachy sort of leaves, which you cook like spinach, strawberry looking growths/nodules growing up the leaves and, apparently a root you can eat like radish.
Plant World, Devon if you fancy trying them.
-
Sounds a bit weird. You try them and report back. Then I'll thinki about it. ;)
-
I'll send you a few seeds to try if you like M.G.W.
-
Yes, please, Sylvia. I'll pm my address.
-
Will send them off tomorrow. Best to google for growing instructions as the ones on the packet are a bit basic. They look interesting if nothing else. :)

Thanks. I'll report on here in due course.

And I don't suppose I could send you any. If I am allowed, Plant World is about a mile from me.

does Australia not have stringent laws on importing food and seeds :farmer:

Yes, they do, Robert. I've just looked into it and, I'm afraid Blond will have to look in Oz for them.
