Title: Brought Archie home yesterday
Post by: Bionic on October 30, 2011, 11:55:15 am
He was sick in the car twice on the way home but at least I was prepared with plastic bags and wet wipes.
As he has never been outside before everything is new to him.
He thinks the leaves in the garden are great fun and has been 'helping' me with the weeding this morning.
The last pic is of him trying to decide what to do with a brussel sprout.

He was born on 3rd Sept so was 8 weeks old when we got him yesterday.

He is costing me a fortune with toys, blankets, brushes, treats...lol

lovely looking lad,
have you lined up a "hairdresser" for him, or will you do him yourself?  nothing as poncy as a poodle just blow-dried & set!!

Little Blue I am hoping to trim him myself but have never done anything like it before.  I bought a grooming kit yesterday which has a DVD with it.  If he gives me some peace today I will watch the video to see what I should be doing.

He had his face, feet and nails trimmed the day before we got him and the breeders showed me how to do that.

When he comes in from the garden he lets me wipe his feet and will happily let me brush him so I am hoping he won't mind me messing him about.

Does anyone know if he is too young for an overall trim at the moment (8.5 weeks).  He is getting very bushy.
