Title: Hello from west-wales
Post by: Pel on March 07, 2009, 05:29:43 pm
Hi,

I live in Aberarth, a small historic fishing village in west-wales. I have 2 black rock hens, 5 quails, 2 rex doe rabbits, 3 dwarf lop bucks (technically my mum has 2 of the males, but she lives about 7 doors down) and 3x 3 week old baby rabbits, also have a husband and joint sharing 2 weaners with a couple across the road from me.

I'm 23 years old and run a Smallholding Sitting Service, where i come into you home and take care of your livestock whilst you can take a break.
I have 2 years volunteering (NT) experience with day-to-day running of a 10 sow, 2 boars welsh and landrace outdoor herd, 25 welsh black cattle and between 150-300 sheep (rare breeds). I also have a HND in Agriculture, which includes one year of countryside mangement skills.
I have sat for Bidgiemire pig arcs and The National Trust- Llanerchaeron, as well smaller holdings.
Please take a look at my website for more information of the business http://www.smallholdingsittingservice.co.uk (http://www.smallholdingsittingservice.co.uk)
