Title: rough prices?

my dad is selling his 1959 mf35x flatbed tipping trailer  linkage box and rear loader whats the minimum price you would start on ebay individual sales maybe or bulk buy tractor has not started since may time dont know the problem but was a load of crud in the fuel lines we have never tipped the trailer but its old and link box got a hole in floor  read loader got a few holes in bucket but works fine and has a reinfoced cutting edge for digging/leveling. any places for selling recamended at all?

Just make sure these items are not worth more as scrap, as scrap prices are up at the moment.  Was at a farm sale, and saw someone buy three horse and a cattle trailer in the auction.  I heard him say they are worth more as scrap than selling as a useable trailer - he was a scrap man.  He also bought old mowing machines etc. presumably for the same reason.

well im looking on ebay for prices and as a rough price i think £2k for tractor £350 rear loader £150-£175 link box £500-£750 for trailer but as im thinking of it im unsure so im asking around more people. as they are a perfect starter for a smallholder i rather them get fixed/used by a smallholder than a scrap man

I think scrap men may be put off by higher prices.  I was shocked the horse trailers went for scrap to be honest - they were all useable, just needed some TLC and a floor.

A neighbour of ours put lots of machinery on e bay and he said he got no bids on some of it - not even for scrap.

Maybe with yours being vintage trailer, it will be bought by a collector, or enthusiast?

at a recent auction link box made £150 in very good condition
rear loader £50 if your luck is in    they are not the best
trailer depends on what make and model
tractor as it is a non runner it is not worth as much as you have valued it
where abouts are you      scrap is back in price £180 per ton or there abouts :farmer:

About 4 years ago dad sold a non running MF65, that was rusty and not very good for 2k to a collector!
